How To Succeed?

Our thoughts on how to succeed.

Hi there, back again after another relaxing break… away.

While thinking about our wonderful lifestyle and how very thankful I am for what we have, I started to think about why so many people fail to become financially independent.

When thinking about how to succeed I decided to use our own experiences when we first started learning how to make extra money at home.

We came up with these reasons why we think most people fail. There is nothing like experience to teach you how to succeed, is there?

Our Thoughts on How to Succeed:

1. Procrastination a.k.a. The thief of time!

For me this is also a problem and I know I am not alone! When I have something I don’t particularly enjoy doing (like housework ) I will think of 101 reasons why I can’t do it! This is a major problem for many people who work at home.

The solution is to work on small chunks so the work does not seem too overwhelming, that will make it easier to concentrate on the task you are meant to be doing. Make a TO DO list. This works for me, whereas Owen tends to memorise what he needs to do…

2. Expecting immediate results:

Sorry folks, there is no such thing as a quick buck! Simple fact. The more work you put into a project the better your return.

3. Giving up too quicly:

In our opinion this is the No 1 reason why most people stop before they have earned a single penny when learning how to make extra money at home. (Giving up too soon ties in with expecting immediate results.)

4. Do not get taken in with schemes promising a quick buck:

This ties in with expecting immediate results, be suspicious of anybody who promises you instant success with a huge income overnight. This is not normal. Many of these schemes make money off the back of unsuspecting and inexperienced people.

5. You have to spend money to make money:

This is very true. You need to invest in good software and get good training. AND this must be ongoing. Online marketing is changing (as I write this) and its vital to keep up with the changes. There is some great, free stuff here, but you will still need to buy some programs. Always look at these types of purchases as investments towards your future while learning how to succeed.

6. Contact successful marketers who have found out how to succeed:

This is important. Talk to people who nnow how to succeed. Ask them questions about how to make extra money at home and how to succeed? Many marketers do not shout from the rooftops about their success, why should they? I would be wary of the ones who are doing the most shouting. Why are they doing this? The answer is because they are trying to sell a system or similar product!

7. Go with your gut instincts:

Most humans do not use this valuable 6th sense which we all have. Try to use it more often, you will be surprised at how accurate it is.

I will add more to my thoughts on how to succeed later… must fly - I’m going for a 5 mile run now!

How to earn extra money at home

Since we’ve started working at home we’ve had a lot of fun and learnt so, so much!

I thought I knew a fair bit about marketing online but that certainly was not the case! I used to be a babe in the woods.

Learning how to earn extra money at home using the internet has been an very enjoyable experience and we have met many interesting people who have taught us most of what we now know.

Unfortunately, we’ve also met people who didn’t teach us anything! Those people are usually the ones who talk the loudest and brag the most!

It can be a tricky business knowing who to trust when you’re trying to learn how to earn extra money at home.

We did as much due diligence as possible and we urge you to do the same.

Check out all the different methods of how to earn extra money at home using the internet. Try to find out as much information as possible so you can make the right decision for you and your circumstances.

When we were looking for a group of online marketers to teach us how to earn extra money at home we registered for and listened to many iNetPro Group Information webinars. We found these very helpful:

We talked to the online marketing trainers, who are also successful internet marketers

We were told we would get weekly training sessions – this is true, we attend live, interactive training a few times a week.
We were told that we would be kept up to speed on the latest marketing techniques. This is important, you will need to keep up with new developments in online marketing
We were told we would NEVER be left to struggle on our own. There is always somebody to help you.
We were told that we could try out the iNetPro Group training before deciding if it really was for us. No commitment to continue if we didn’t like what we found!

Being able to earn extra money at home is something many people would like to get to grips with.

In our case, one of the main reasons we started our online business was because we wanted to make sure we would be comfortable when we retired.

And gosh! What an enjoyable experience it has been – we have learnt so, so much since we started our home online business!

Information overload…

Information overload is probably one of the most common problems people have when they first start to try to earn extra money at home in their online business.

The amount of information available online is staggering. What you should do; what you should not do; buy this program; try this; try that; this will solve your SEO problems; this technique will get you lots of Google love….and it goes on and on!

In our opinion, you need good help and support to stay focussed.

You must have the support of a group of experienced online marketers who know what works and what does not work and will guide you when you haven’t a clue what to do next…

Believe me, that will happen! There will be days when you have spent hours battling with SEO or a press release or linking process and just cannot get it right.
