Well, we’re back from a wonderfully relaxing break in the Algarve, Portugal!

Oh, it was so lovely to feel the warmth of the sun on our skin and see blue skies!  We relaxed, caught up on reading, spoke to a few contacts on the internet, went for long walks and sampled lots of lovely Portuguese wine!  AND you will be impressed (I hope!) – we also went to the super gym!  How’s that for a commitment to good health?  I suppose it helped our conscience, we felt better and could indulge in the delicious local foods and wine without feeling guilty.

The resort which we stayed at was really nice.

next to the beautiful pool and there was the beach, RIGHT in front of our apartment!

Dirk and Llewella, my brother and sister-in-law, joined us on this holiday and we had a great time with them.  It worked out really well! It can be tricky with family but we all got on famously so I think they also enjoyed themselves.

We were in out of season so the seaside town was lovely and quiet.  Just our cup of tea!

We DO NOT DO crowds and drunk yobs!

We didn’t see our hear any of that fortunately.
